How to Avoid Office Drama







        Working in office often causing many unnecessary conflict and problem between it’s workers, its “ office drama”, this little but stressing conflict can started in many way such as,  some of us may want to express our idea and take control of the situation in office job and some people will start to talk behind us that you’re bossy .Some of us may don’t want to do much things in a project, and other will start not liking us by talk behind us that we are lazy person. Or maybe someone at our office close to the boss, and friends start to hate it and begin talk behind.

        Work place  or office drama are very common happened in daily life in the office. As example it happened when you talk about people you don’t like to other coworker in the back, and your friend start adding it up until you feel more hate, and you friend talk the same thing about same people and go on until the one you talk about knows that you don’t like her, and then she also talk bad about you to his close friend, and go on , until all the situation begin to heat up an all stressed, not because the job , but because tired of thinking and talking bad things about others. We may go back home feeling stressed not because we have done many hard task in the office, but because we feel stressed of our coworker

          You will not want other people or your boss to know you are involved in office drama, because they know it unproductive and have bad impact to companies goal. If you not stop yourself to involve in office drama, or if you fail to recognize you are working with office drama situation , there high chances you will not enjoying what you’re doing at your office, and you’re going to quit your job soon.

         I once involve in office drama at a point until I want to quit my job, because I can’t stand the situation, but then I start to learn and recognize the situation, until everything under control, I may cannot control my coworker did, but I control the situation that involve myself, and now I can free from it while maintain good relationship with all coworker and can do task better and faster than other. These are some tips from me about how you could protect yourself from office drama

1. Recognize the office drama

You have to calm yourself, know what situation that unproductive, make you stressed, and you know it just part of office drama, as example, you feel one of your friend behaving bad, and you talk about it with your friend, and then your frien keep talking abaout that, until you two keep hating that one person that you talk behind, that’s just an office drama, its unproductive, and have nothing to do with your life atr all if you don’t do it, if your friend make you stressed, just find the solution, maybe you talk to him directly in appropriate manner, and don’t get emotional will be much better other then talk abaout him behind, and make yourself  become the center of office drama.

2. Hear your friend

If your friend talk bad about other employee, listen them, but don’t try to add up bad things about the same stuff and tell them, or don’t try to give solution if that just make bad things and making office drama stronger.

3. Make commitment

Make pact to yourself that you will never talk bad things about your friend, your company , the job ercetra to other people, just keep it by yourself, believe me, talk it to your coworker just make the situation getting worse. 

4. Treat your coworker well and equally

You don’t  want your coworker talk bad about you because you don’t treat them as good as you treat others right? So start to treat them equally well ( not equally bad lol)

5. If you have to, complain well and don’t offend anyone

Don’t complain too much to your company, remember they pay you some money. Don’t complain too much about other coworker because working in team is not as simple doing thing on your own, and also don’t complain of you see someone complain about you, because its normal, you just don’t want to involved in it and make the situation worse

6. Manage your stress

office drama can cause a lot of stress, the stress can be so immense that even can make you sick. So you have to help yourself first, cure the hate and all negative energy from your mind, maybe try to meditate or get more sleep

7. Don’t think about office at home

Office is office, when you’re in holiday or at you home, stop thinking about anything happened in the office. I can be hard to be done, especially the situation in the office already very bad, but that’s the only way, you must do it


Okay, that’s some tips from me, based on my real experiences, that will help you a lot.
