1. Simple Present Tense

• To say absolute fact
• To say routine or habit
• To state schedule

Formula

S + V1(+s/es)

S + Do/Does+ not + V1

Do/Does + not + S + V1 ?

Example :

• I run every morning
• My train arrives at 5.00 PM
• I don’t read newspaper after breakfast

2. Present Continues Tense

To say things that happening right now

example

• I am cooking this meal now
• I am not lying
• Are you listening?

formula

S+ is/am/are + V1ing

S + is/am/are+ not + V1ing

Is/am/are + S + V1ing +  ?

3. Present Perfect Tense

To express things that has just finished at present moment

Example

• Nius has gone just now
• She has not finished the task yet
• Has he read it yet?

Formula

S + have/has + V3

S + have/has + not + V3

Have/has + S + V3?

 4. Present Perfect Continues

To say things that begun in the past and still continue (possible) in the present

Example

• The music has been playing for two hour
• I have been learning a lot recently

Formula

• S+ have/has +been + v ing
• S+ have/has + not + been+ v ing
• Have/has + S + been + V ing
