Hari ke-2 perjalanan mencapai Pola Hidup Sederhana

Hari ini dapat di bilang hari yang tidak terlalu baik untuk pelaksanaan pola hidup sederhana. Dimulai dengan di pagi hari saya lupa untuk bangun pada pukul 5 yang menyebabkan saya tidak dapat menanak nasi dan kemudian hari ini saya tidak dapat membawa bekal nasi ke kantor. Sebenarnya saya berusaha untuk mencegah melakukan pengeluaran berlebih dengan membungkus kopi bubuk untuk dua cangkir, namun begitu sampai di kantor entah mengapa saya tergoda untuk pergi ke dunkin donat untuk membeli paket breakfast. Seperti biasa paket breakfast dengan sandwich yang sangat tidak bermutu ditambah dengan segelas besar kopi hitam harus saya tebus dengan Rp 27.000, sungguh kurang menguntungkan secara nilai uang karena dengan harga yang sama seharusnya saya dapat membeli dua buah burger di burger king. Tidak berhenti disana, karena setelah merasa kurang kenyang dengan sandwich dunkin saya kembali memesan burger king melalui Grab-food yang ditawarkan teman saya Dina, keputusan ini ternyata adalah keputus...

Rencana Belanja Rp.0 Rupiah Gagal akibat Vocer Gratis Go-food

Hari ini sebenarnya saya sudah bertekad untuk tidak membelanjakan uang sepeserpun karena saya sudah membawa makana dari rumah. Namun , siang hari saya tergoda untuk membuka aplikasi go food yang ternyata menawarkan berbagai promo. Pertama saya menggunakan promo go food untuk membeli soto bogoryang harganya Rp 17000, namun karena berbagai macam promo saya hanya perlu membayar sebesar Rp 3000. Kemudian karena saya kaget dengan diskon yang saya dapatkan, saya kemudian memesan makana lain yaitu es krim kopi dan martabak dengan biaya cuma cuma (karena saya menggunakan vocer promo lagi. Saking senangnya akhirnya saya tergoda lagi untuk membeli kopi starbuck yang walaupun telah dikurangi promo harganya tetap Rp 13.ooo. Empat transaksi ini akhirnya membuat saya melakukan pengeluaran sebesar Rp 16.000. Saldo gopay saya yang kemarin Rp 25.000 kini tinggal Rp 9.000. Perjalanana memulai Pola Hidup Sederhana

Tanpa saya sadari saya telah memulai hidup minimalist sejak pertama kali saya mendapatkan penghasilan. Waktu itu saya mendapat kesempatan untuk berdinas ke jakarta dan di sela sela waktu saya mengunjungi toko buku murah di basement Blok M Square. Entah mengapa dari sekian banyak buku yang ada disana saya tertarik dengan buku "Rich Dad Poor Dad" karangan Robert T. Kiyosaki. Sebuah buku mengenai finansial pribadi yang juga bukan jenis buku yang pernah saya sukai sebelumnya. Buku ini membuka mata saya mengenai bagaimana perekonomian bekerja melalui perputaran uang, dan dengan menguasai uang kita dapat lebih memgang kendali pada hidup kita. Darisinilah saya pertama kali belajar mengenai pentingnya uang, dan karena itu janganlah dengan mudah kita berikan kepada orang lain. Have you heard about Rohingya Refugee Crisis in Myanmar ?. This is considered as one of the worst humanitarian disasters in modern world history. Thousands of people were killed and sunk in the cold  South China Sea. Givers are those who are tend to give something to other or do something to other people in society. While the taker is those who likes to ask for things or help to other.            A good speech is a speech that drawing the atention of its listener. To make listener pay attention, we need to make an interesting opening, so that our listener will get curious with what we would say. Connor O Neil, the President of Leadership Institute at IESSE Business School on his lecture stated there is three best way to introduce a speech.           The third best way to do it is by introducing yourself first and then you introduce your topic next. Originals Thinker are people who come up with new and creative great ideas. Who are those people? Can they be one of us?.  Professor Jacob from my university have been researching their traits and they share some common characteristics. Number one, they tend to procrastinate. Person who procrastinate sometime produce more creative idea than those who complete the task on time, sounds wired isn't it?.
